Quality

Quality is recognised as a vital factor in LYSI’s business. Therefore management emphasizes the following principles:

-  To train and educate the company's personnel in order to increase their skills and knowledge

-  To manufacture quality products that meet the requirements and expectations of customers

-  To undertake research and product development in order to meet customer needs

-  To ensure that the company yields reasonable profit allowing for development and progress

To implement this policy, management has established a certified quality system conforming to the ISO 9001 international standard. Furthermore, LYSI has extended the scope of the above standard by incorporating special requirements for sanitary measures, work surroundings and premises. These factors are subject to the regulations of "Good Manufacturing Practice and Pharmaceutical Production" - GMP, a prerequisite for obtaining authorization for pharmaceutical production and packaging. LYSI has also obtained BRC (British Retail Consortium) standard certification.

Among goals aimed at by establishing an effective certified quality system are:

-	All company personnel will be involved in ensuring implementation of the quality system, and actively take part in it
-	The "Quality Manual" and "Operations Manual" ensure that information pertaining to the quality system is accessible and received by all concerned.
-	All personnel are duly introduced to and instructed about the quality system, through documentation, courses and presentations.
-	Furthermore, training and increased competence of personnel is a priority, ensured through annual training courses, among other things. The aim is to enhance the contribution of the personnel.

 
Emphasis is placed on increasing quality and lowering cost. Increased yield in production will be achieved by better utilizing raw material and other input resources
