LYSI receives the 2007 President of Iceland’s Award for Export Achievement
Iceland’s President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson awarded the President of Iceland's Award for Export Achievement 2007 to Katrin Petursdottir, CEO of LYSI, at a ceremony in April.
Said Valur Valsson, Chairman of the Committee: "LYSI receives the Award for unique achievement in the sales and marketing of marine lipid products and for the vision the company demonstrates in product development and for the build up of knowledge and expertise in its field". Says Katrin Petursdottir, CEO: "The award is indeed a very positive recognition for the intensive work that takes place within LYSI, and reflects the contribution of each and every employee. LYSI is on the fast track towards further achievements and the award is one more milestone on that journey".
