LYSI’s new refining plant in Reykjavik is equipped with highly specialised processing equipment necessary for high quality fish oil production. The new plant makes it possible for LYSI to offer a wide range of products, fulfilling all our customers’ requirements concerning quality and flexibility.

Emphasising high product quality and consistency of service, our fish oils are produced in accordance with GMP (API), HACCP and ISO 9001 certifications. In 2007 LYSI received a GMP Manufacturing License from the Icelandic Medicines Agency for the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).
 

Our main focus is on fish oils fit for human consumption. Our products include Cod Liver Oil, Omega-3 Fish Oil, Salmon Oil, Tuna Oil, Shark Liver Oil and fish oil concentrates. LYSI offers a range of standard products that can be adjusted to our customers’ requirements.

Our fish oil products comply with all major pharmacopoeias and the CRN monograph while meeting all official regulations in regards to environmental contaminants. They are free from genetically modified materials (GMO) and components and can be fortified with vitamins A, D and E, antioxidants and flavours, upon request.

The products can be delivered in drums, IBC’s, flexitanks or tank containers.

With a frequent shipping schedule from Reykjavik to major European and N-American harbours, LYSI can deliver efficiently to destinations around the globe.

Since 2008 LYSI has a new production line for producing omega-3 concentrates allowing for an extended range of new products to be offered.
